Premier League referee Mr A. Marriner (Andre to his friends) from the sunny West Midlands, gets the gig for the nPower Championship game at the City Ground tonight between Nottingham Forest and Coventry City.
So far this season Andre, sorry, Mr. Marriner, has taken charge of 11 games in which he’s dished out a whopping 38 yellow cards and 1 red. The last time he had the privelege of refereeing a game involving the Reds’, was the forgettable 3-1 home defeat to the Sheep, back in 2009.
He’ll be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. S. Child and Mr. A. Halliday. The 4th official is Mr. P. Tierney.
