The match officials for the game at Ashton Gate on Saturday, between Bristol City and Nottingham Forest have been announced.

Mr. Phil Crossley from sunny Kent gets the gig for this Championship encounter and it will be the 3rd time this season he’s had the pleasure of refereeing a game involving the Reds’.

He took control of the opening day fixture at the Madejski Stadium, when we drew 0-0 with Reading. He sent off Luke Chambers that day, for an off the ball incident late in the game. He also took charge of the 1-0 home win against ‘Boro in February.

So far this campaign, he’s refereed 31 games, in which he’s dished out a whopping 106 yellow cards and 6 red. He clearly loves the paperwork.

He’ll be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. S. Creighton and Mr. G. S. Stretton. The 4th official will be Mr. M. Russell.
