That man Mr. Darren Deadman, from sunny Cheshunt gets the gig for the nPower Champonship clash at St. Andrews this afternoon, for the game between Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest.

The last time Mr. Deadman took charge of a game involving the Reds’, was in the 4-0 home defeat to Leeds Utd last season. Whilst Forest put in one of their worst displys of the season that Tuesday night, Mr. Deadman far from covered himself in glory with an equally inept performance of his own. Andy Reid was sent off for two bookable offences, which as it turns out was about the only thing Mr.D got right throughout the entire game.

So far this campaign, he’s officiated in 24 games, in whch he’s dished out 82 yellow cards and 4 red.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. Derek Eaton and Mr. Danny Gratton. The fourth official will be Mr. John Busby.
