ANYONE visiting the Raymond McEnhill Stadium this morning to collect their tickets for Sunday’s FA Cup tie with Nottingham Forest may have noticed a certain shiny piece of silverware being photographed at the ground.

The FA Cup was at the Ray Mac for a series of publicty photos to promote the tie, which is being televised live on Sunday’s Match Of The Day on the BBC.

Members of the written press as well as representives from TV and radio were present to capture manager Nick Holmes being reunited with the cup he won as a player with Southampton in 1976.

Pupils from Woodlands Primary School were also invited to attend the photo-call and the youngsters all gave the Whites the thumbs up and believe City can do the business on Sunday and cause one of the upsets of the round. All predicted a City win!

City supporters should keep an eye on the national newspapers over the next few days for features on Nick and player/coach Tommy Widdrington, as well as looking out for clips on the club on local TV news programmes.
