Very sad news eminating from the official Rushden and Diamonds
website today, says that former Forest keeper Dale Roberts has died at the tender age of 24.
A short official statement from the club chairman, Gary Calder says. ‘It is with great sadness that this afternoon our England-C goalkeeper Dale Roberts passed away, our thoughts and prayers at this time go to his parents, family and friends.’
Roberts joined the Conference National side in 2009, following his second loan spell with the club. No further details are available as yet, but thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends.
RIP Dale Roberts.
