The NEP are reporting that Millwall have rejected a £2m bid for striker Steve Morison.
The Lions frontman and leading scorer has been the subject of Forest transfer speculation, since Dexter Blackstock was ruled out for a year with a cruciate ligament injury.
Morison bagged 23 goals for Millwall last season and is on course to match that again this term with 10 goals so far. At 27 years of age, £2m is a fair price, but as the article says, the Lions don’t need to sell.
He’d be a quality addition to the Forest ranks, but it sounds as if the Reds’ will have to up their price, if what the NEP says is correct. Would you pay more for Morison? Join in the debate on the forum to have your say.
