Forest will be looking to get back to winning ways against The Railway men, after suffering their first away League defeat of the season in midweek against Bournemouth.

Some of the doom and gloom merchants are already writing Forest off after a less than impressive 7 days. The mighty Reds’ were held to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup, by Conference South side Salisbury City on Sunday. This was followed on Tuesday night by a 2-0 defeat at struggling Bournemouth. Fans should remember that Calderwood and his charges are still 5 points clear at the top of League 1.

Crewe had a bright start to the season and were amongst the early season pacesetters, but a bad run of results sees them currently in 11th. A three match unbeaten run came to an end after a 1-0 away defeat to Oldham in midweek.

The two sides have met previously on 13 occasions and The Reds’ have the upper hand with eight victories, two defeats and three ending in stalemate.

If you haven’t already got a ticket for this popular away fixture, then forget it, as the clubs entire allocation has sold out.
