Following the news earlier this week that Peter Whittingham had signed a new deal at Cardiff, it seems Forest may once again be turning their attentions to Sheffield Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson.

Forest had a £350,000 bid for the Jamaican international rejected back in July, with the Owls insisting it wasn’t enough and that he wasn’t for sale. Both The Daily Mail and Sky Sports news are today reporting that the Reds’ have renewed their interest in the pacey winger.

News of the failed bid in July, didn’t exactly light up the message boards, with opinions on the 30 year old mixed to put it kindly. Forest will have to up their previous bid if they are serious, with interest also being shown by Leeds and Burnley.
