That’s certainly one way to show just how important you are.
Looks like the players took Sabri Lamouchi’s advice to try and turn around their home form, because Nottingham Forest started off the New Year and new decade with a bang as they played out a thrilling 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers at the City Ground. However, there was one person who stole the headlines and that was Lewis Grabban who managed to score a brace.
I wonder if Sabri Lamouchi got himself a new ‘fridge’ in the Boxing Day sales, and that’s why he was able to get on the scoresheet twice, now taking him up to fourteen goals for the season, nine more than his next closest competitor Joe Lolley.
So naturally, Forest fans took to social media after the game to laud the 31-year-old for his efforts, not only yesterday, but throughout the season as a whole.
The best striker in the Championship. #Grabban #NFFC

With plenty of talk surrounding Grabban going into the transfer window, and whether or not he needs a backup option, if he keeps firing in goals at this rate, I’m not sure if he’s going to need a backup. Just so long as he can stay healthy along the way.
