Tyler Walker got himself on the scoresheet and was named Man of the Match as Lincoln City beat Fleetwood Town 2-0 on Saturday afternoon. The 22-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to life at Sincil Bank and has now doubled his League One tally for the season.

Walker broke the deadlock in the 34th minute with a diving header from Harry Toffolo’s cross and had his second goal of the game a minute later – Callum Connolly fed Walker through and he shot underneath Matt Gilks. He was substituted in the 71st minute for John Akinde.
Lincoln saw the game out to pick up all three points. The Imps currently sit second in League One with 12 points from a possible 18, having ended a run of back-to-back defeats with a win. City boast a 100% record at home and have yet to concede a goal in their own backyard.
As for Walker, the Nottingham Forest loanee has now contributed six goals in six League One games since his summer move. He scored and created 30 goals in 52 games during his stint at Mansfield and appears to have picked up where he left off.
