Nahki Wells was full of praise for Joe Lolley on social media, calling the Nottingham Forest winger “the best in the Championship” after he scored and created all five goals in the Reds’ 5-5 draw with Aston Villa.

Lolley has been in outstanding form this season, contributing 12 goals in 15 league starts, and he’s found himself linked with the likes of Watford, Cardiff City and West Bromwich Albion.

The Burnley striker is clearly a fan of Lolley and he’s not the only one. The Forest winger has been lauded by Aitor Karanka and the supporters this season and is key to their promotion push.

The Reds are currently sixth in the Championship table with 31 points from 19 games and have picked up three wins and three draws from their last half a dozen matches.

Coming off the back of a sensational 5-5 draw with Aston Villa, Forest next face Ipswich Town on Saturday and could cement their place in the playoffs if they come out on top.

With the Tractor Boys sitting rock bottom in the Championship without a win in their last seven games, in addition to have the worst defensive record (33) and keeping only one clean sheet this season, Lolley must fancy his chances of adding to his tally.
