Forest boss Colin Calderwood has to decide when is the right time to let defender Wes Morgan have the operation needed to sort out a hernia problem.

Calderwood told the Nottingham Evening Post. ‘Wes has a hernia that needs to be looked at. He needs an operation and we will look at the opportune moment to do that. He will be out for two weeks or so, as long as there are no complications. If it goes well, he could be back sooner.
‘As long as he is okay to play and train, we will leave it for now. But we will monitor things carefully.’

Former player Grant Holt had the same problem during his time with the Reds’ and it did affect his form. Calderwood will probably look to Chambers, Perch, Lynch or Bennett as cover for when he has the operation.
