Kris Commons could get an unexpected recall to the Forest squad for the weekend game against Cheltenham at the City Ground.
KC had a scan on a thigh injury and the results were not as bad as expected. He has been given the all clear and according to the official site resumed training today.
The news is not so good for striker Nathan Tyson. He had to be replaced at the interval, in the Tuesday night victory at Carlisle.
Tyson was replaced by Garath McCleary, after damaging his hamstring once again. It’s not yet known how serious it is, but it will be a major concern for the club, just as we head into the final run in.
