Forest are to renew their interest in Clyde forward Dougie Imrie according to Setanta Sports. The 24 year old spent 4 days at the City Ground back in November on trial.

Originally from Lanark, Imrie joined Clyde in 2006. he’s made 61 appearances for the Scottish First Division side and scored 11 goals. He can play as a winger or forward.

The report also says there’s a host of other clubs in for the player including Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Barnsley, Burnley and Huddersfield.

In other transfer gossip we’ve apparently had a bid for Coventry striker Leon Best turned down. He’s been linked with a move to Forest since the summer, then again who hasn’t.
