Nottingham Forest go into battle this Saturday with current Championship table toppers Sheffield United.

We welcome Chris Wilder’s side to the City Ground with six points separating us and victory could see Forest move into the Play-Off spots depending on results elsewhere. Plenty of changes are expected compared to the lineup manager Aitor Karanka led with for the EFL Cup defeat to Burton Albion in midweek, but with Jack Colback already ruled out given his suspension, a number of fans have taken to social media to implore Karanka to not bring midfielder Ben Watson back into the side for the game.

The 33-year-old has been a regular for the former Middlesbrough boss this season and he already has 13 appearances to his name, but for a number of fans his performances just haven’t been up to scratch lately and given the general agreement is he’s a good bloke, a fair few feel he should be taken out of the firing line as he doesn’t deserve the treatment he’s currently getting.

Why Colback wasn’t suspended for the midweek tie is beyond me and it’s clear many thought he would serve his suspension in that one, but given midfield will be a battle, I can see a lot of sense in Claudio Yacob finally get himself up and running with us.
