According to the official site, Reds’ defender Julian Bennett hasn’t trained since the 5-1 mauling at Molineux, after picking up a calf strain.

Bennett won’t be short of company whilst visiting the Physio, as he will be joining fellow team mates, Tyson, Cole, Anderson, Garner, Wilson and Davies. They could do worse than form their own six a side team, just to pass the time away.

As bad as it sounds at the moment on the injury front, there are signs of improvement. Tyson and Cole are well on the way to being recovered and it’s thought new striker Joe Garner could be fit by the end of the month.

If Jules manages to make the training session scheduled for tomorrow, then he will be in with a shout of making the game against Burnley at the weekend. Manager Colin Calderwood hinted that he thought Bennett had a chance of being fit, which at least means that the strain isn’t expected to keep him out too long.
