The Sun‘s Assistant Sports News Editor Phil Cadden is reporting that we are one of four teams considering a loan move for Leicester City midfielder Andy King.

Stoke and Cardiff are interested in the Welsh international while Swansea, who signed the player on loan last season, are also keen on the 29-year-old.

The Nottingham Post are reporting that we are trying to get two other deals over the line too. Huddersfield Town centre-back Michael Hefele is a player the club are keen to sign, but the German’s recent injury problems mean he might not pass a medical, scuppering any deal.

The protracted negotiations to sign Sam Byram from West Ham could also come to a conclusion today. We are said to be seeking to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent deal, but we may run out of time before the transfer deadline.

Still, a loan move for the right-back could still be on the cards with the club able to negotiate up until August 31st.
