With news of the knee injury to Forest striker Dexter Blackstock not looking good, the club may look into bringing charges against Cardiff City’s Seyi Olofinjana.

Blackstock was involved in a challenge with midfielder Olofinjana towards the end of the game, which resulted in the Forest striker being stretchered off. Although the club are awaiting results from scans on his knee, the early indications are that Blackstock could be out of action for a year.

Billy Davies told The Daily Mirror. “It`s a horrific injury and he will be out for 12 months minimum. The club needs to look at the video of the incident again. We have to decide if we want to complain.”

Meanwhile, Forest are said to be after a replacement for Blackstock, with Leicester City’s Matty Fryatt topping the list. With the loan window closing today, they’d better get a wriggle on.
