Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay has today joined Nottingham Forest. The deal is initially a loan deal until January, with a view to making it permanent.

Tudgay has made 22 appearances for the Owls this season, although most have been from the bench. Despite being out of favour he has found the net in 4 of those games and is a proven scorer at Championship level.

He’s still only 27 and before joining the Wendy’s in 2006, he made his name at the Sheep Dip with the Rams. He scored 18 goals in 99 appearances for the Shaggers, before making his move to Hillsborough. Welcome to the City Ground Marcus Tudgay.
