Nottingham Forest had been heavily linked with a loan move for out of favour Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini and a short time ago this evening we confirmed his capture.

The 24-year-old Brazilian attacker was instrumental in helping Wolves to the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League last season as he arrived at the club in blistering form, scoring 12 goals in the opening half of the 2017/18 campaign.
Although his goals dried up in the second half of the year and he’s only been a bit part player this year for them, he has contributed one goal in nine appearances and manager Martin O’Neill will definitely be hoping he can rediscover his scoring ways as we look to mount our own promotion bid this season.
It does appear to be a straight loan deal with no talk of a buy option from Forest, at least at this stage, but we’ll see what the future holds depending on how he settles into life at the City Ground.
