Not quite the Barcelona’s Lionel Messi or Neymar but Nottingham Forest have concluded deals for free agents Damien Perquis and Stephen Henderson as well as a loan for Benfica’s Hildeberto Pereira.

The Messi and Neymar reference is, of course, in relation to the thoughts Head Coach Philippe Montanier made just a couple of days ago that Forest wouldn’t be rushing into any deals unless these two ‘wanted to come to Nottingham.’

Like busses though you wait for a while and three coming along at once….literally!

32-year-old Poland international, albeit not capped in three-years, central defender Perquis was most recently with Toronto in the MLS but had become a free agent with him tied down to a two-year contract.

The most recognisable of the arrivals is ‘keeper Henderson.

He has played for the likes of Portsmouth, Bournemouth and West Ham in recent times with the Republic of Ireland international leaving Charlton following their Championship relegation. The 28-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Forest.

Completing the trio of arrival is 20-year-old defender Pereira.

He hasn’t played for Benfica in the Portuguese Primeira Liga but has been capped at U20 level for Portugal and has been part of the Benfica B team in the second division, he’ll spent a season-long loan with Forest.

What do we make of these deal, happy or not? Let us know below.
