Jorge Grant has an uncertain future at Nottingham Forest after his failed loan spell at Mansfield Town. The 24-year-old joined the Stags in January until the end of the season but has struggled for form at Field Mill and may find his career at a crossroads when he leaves Mansfield in May.
Grant has made 16 appearances for Town this season, scoring four goals and making three assists. The wide-man’s last goal came against Macclesfield Town on February 2 and his last assist was on March 18. Supporters have been frustrated with his performances and want to see the back of him at Mansfield.
Best Player – Bishop/Pearce (I can't decide between the 2🤷🏼♂️)
Best Young Player – Tyler Walker
Most Disappointing Player – Jorge Grant
Most Improved Player – Mal Benning (Compared to last season) https://t.co/BBaIFyu9PF— Callum Moakes (@CallumMTFC18) April 27, 2019
I agree as surely the players benefit by raising their profile. But I feel that there is a huge lack of ambition by some players who are quite happy to ply their trade at lower level. I look at Jorge Grant, has the ability but seems to lack application or the ability to kick on.

Jorge Grant needs to get cleared back off to Forest, as he has no interest in contributing to the team. He doesn’t get stuck in enough or work hard enough for me. Absolute waste of space.

Jorge Grant is the biggest disappointment I’ve ever seen in all honesty. One overrated player

Jorge grant when chips are down doesnt have a strong mentality and goes missing in games when you need him to produce a magic to turn a game. Think stags fans will be fairly disappointed with his contribution for them.

The 24-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with Forest, but it’s hard to see him having a future in the East Midlands. Grant joined the Reds from the Nike Academy in 2013 but has made just 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating three goals.
Grant’s last outing for Forest came against Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 17, 2016. He’s been loaned out to Notts County (January 31, 2017 – May 31, 2018), Luton Town (July 6, 2018 – January 7, 2019) and Mansfield (January 14, 2019 – present).
