Forest striker Matt Derbyshire has joined League 1 club Oldham on a one month emergency loan deal.
The 26 year old signed a 3 year deal with the Reds’ last summer, after moving on a free transfer from Greek club Olympiakos. The former Blackburn man scored 2 goals in 16 appearances for Forest.
Derbyshire told the Oldham official site. ‘Forest have eight strikers and Sean O’Driscoll only plays one up front which doesn’t suit me. I need to be playing football which is why I was happy to come here when Paul Dickov game me a call.’ Good luck Matt Derbyshire.
