Premier League referee Mr. Mark Halsey from sunny Lancashire gets the gig for the nPower Championship encounter at the City Ground today, between Forest and Birmingham.

The last time Mr. Halsey had the pleasure of taking charge of a game involving the Reds’, was in the 2010/11 season, for the 4-1 defeat away at Leeds. Forest fans will remember that Mr. Halsey far from put in an impressive display on that occasion and amongst a host of glaring errors on the day, he added insult to injury by sending off Chris Cohen for a controversial tackle on Leeds defender George McCartney.

So far this season, Mr. Halsey has taken charge of 2 games in which he’s dished out 2 yellow cards and 1 red.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. Andrew Halliday and Mr. Matthew Wilkes. The fourth official is Mr. Scott Mathieson.
