Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies is on record saying he’s not a fan of loan signings, but he’s going to have to change his mind if he wants to strengthen his current squad.
The loan window reopens next week and Forest are rumoured to be after out of favour Birmingham City winger Gary McSheffrey. According the ever reliable Daily Star, Billy Davies will make the frontman his first signing.
McSheffrey has only made 7 appearances for the Blues this season, but has been linked with us throughout the January transfer window. He’s a proven player at this level and could add some much needed strength to our depleted frontline.
