Julian Bennett has missed the last two games for the Reds due to a hamstring injury he picked up in the game with Cheltenham a fortnight ago, but the good news from the club today, is that he’s back and raring to go.

Jules has fast become a City Ground favourite this season with his marauding runs down the wing and is a hot favourite for the Player of the Year award. Many thought that the arrival of Matty Lockwood in the summer would see our local hero frozen out of the side, but he has made the left back spot his own.

Colin Calderwood told the official site. ‘Julian has recovered quite well. Rest and recuperation is what he needed and his problem has gone away fairly quickly.’

More good news on the injury front is that striker Nathan Tyson is available, as is Will Hoskins. Hopefully the injuries are all clearing up now, although Junior Agogo is out with a calf strain.
