Nottingham Forest’s away day troubles continued today at the Withdean stadium as Brighton grabbed their first home win in over two months. The Reds had striker Nathan Tyson sent off, but took the lead when Jack Lester scored with a good individual strike moments after Tyson was shown red for violent conduct following a tussle with Adam El-Abd.

Brighton skipper Dean Hammond equalised with a low free-kick before Nick Ward pounced on a rebound to make it 2-1.

Forest also went close through James Perch and striker Grant Holt. The result means Forest now reside in fourty place, five points behind league leaders Scunthorpe.
