Forest winger Paul Anderson faces an anxious wait, after undergoing scans to reveal the extent of the injury he picked up during the 4-1 defeat at Leeds on Saturday.

The club says that Ando’s condition has failed to improve during the week and has to be considered a major doubt for the game against Reading on Saturday.

Anderson took a knee in the ribs during the game and had to be replaced by Garath McCleary after only 30 minutes. Unsurprisingly, the incident went unnoticed by referee Mark Halsey and not for the first time in the game it was at great cost to the Reds’ (Yep. Still bitter!).

If Anderson is out of the Reading clash, he will join a growing list of players that are unavailable to the manager. Cohen, Blackstock, Findley, Moussi, Wilson and McKenna, are all unavailable due to injury, suspension, or in Wilson’s case, let’s just say unfancied.
