The fixture lists for the 2011/12 football season have been released today and Steve McClaren’s first competitve game in charge of Nottingham Forest, will be at home to Barnsley on August 6.

The draw for the 1st round of the Carling Cup was made yesterday and Forest were drawn at home to neighbours Notts County. This match is scheduled to be played during the week beginning August 8.
