It’s all looking very promising, isn’t it?
After their game against Peterborough was cancelled, for reasons that still haven’t quite been revealed yet, Nottingham Forest players have been making the most of their training in the boiling heat of Spain. Every last second is being used to get the players both physically fit and their tactics for this season down to a tee.
Whilst you can’t judge everything about a man’s character and his approach to football just by watching a few video clips from training, it is good to see that Forest fans are trying to take some positives out of the updates from the club, over how new boss Sabri Lamouchi is running things.
Having been through so many managers over recent years, it looks like this one is finally bringing Forest fans together with a sense of optimism.
Looks like this guy wants to mix a great work ethic with some good football at last

Look like proper organised training sessions these. The gaffer getting involved too ????????. Expect to see a fit enough squad to cope with the demands of Championship football come August. #nffc https://t.co/H0H9kKbd5d

There were however, some eagle-eyed viewers that spotted a few similarities between what Lamouchi is doing, and what his predecessor Martin O’Neill did with his training sessions. If reports are to be believed that the training sessions were part of what cost O’Neill his job, then the Frenchman might just have to watch his back.
Worked hard by O’Neill but protested. Why?
