It is simply a must-win game this weekend.

Despite the expectation and excitement around Aitor Karanka`s arrival, he`s not yet really got the side playing how he wants and results need to start picking up – and quick.

I`ve no doubt that he`s the right man, of course, but having all those new signings come in at once was always going to ensure a transitional period, a process that we are still in.

It remains a balancing act and whilst I`m sure (or is that more hopeful?) that this new look squad will start to gel, in this immediate moment in time I would look to rejig it somewhat and restore Daryl Murphy to the starting line-up.

The Irishman brings much needed experience and know-how, so while Vellios and Brereton may prove to be the future pairing, our No.9 will provide the short-term fix to navigate us through these remaining weeks of the season.

I’d imagine the boss is under no illusion that it`s time to deliver some points, therefore turning to a few old heads is vital in this process. Karanka, in time can shape his team accordingly; however, we need to start winning football matches again – something I believe the big man would ultimately deliver if he were to be restored to the team.

Our polls asks, Time to bring Daryl Murphy back into the starting XI?
