Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Lyle Taylor on a permanent transfer, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Championship season.
Taylor had been a free agent following his controversial departure from Charlton Athletic, but has now found himself a new home in the Championship.
The striker – who scored 11 goals in 22 Championship appearances for the Addicks last season – has now sealed a move to The City Ground, putting pen to paper on a permanent contract with Forest, and securing the goalscoring support for Lewis Grabban that Forest found lacking last season.
Following the signings of midfielder Jack Colback and defender Tyler Blackett, Taylor has become Forest’s third signing of the summer transfer window, as they aim to build a squad capable of securing promotion to the Premier League.
Taking to Twitter to react to news of Taylor’s arrival, plenty of Forest fans certainly appeared happy with their side’s latest bit of business.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say about the signing of Taylor.
