Danny Fox agreed to join Forest on loan for the remainder of the season, during the last few days of the January Transfer Window.

He went on to make 15 appearances for the club, accumulating 9 bookings along the way – during an ill fated final 3rd of the season.

With Stuart Pearce having held meetings with the current playing staff earlier in the week, we can assume that he was happy with the left back’s performances and sanctioned him joining his squad for next season.

Nottingham Forest announced, via their official site, that terms on a permanent switch from Southampton had been agreed on Friday.

Danny, who celebrates his 28th Birthday later this month, joining is more welcome news, as both he & David Vaughan will complete their respective permanent moves in the summer.
