And the good news just keeps rolling.
And who knows, given our tendency to go through managers, we might find ourselves in a situation where he’s player-manager, so at the very least he’s putting forward a strong case.
Nottingham Forest and Joe Lolley are through to the semi-finals of the EFL Football Manager Cup after a 3-1 win over Middlesbrough in extra-time. Goals from Tiago Silva, Joe Worrall and John Bostock were enough for us to get through to the last four of the competition.
Are you struggling to cope without any real football to pay attention to?
Yes
No
Whilst there’s no real football for us to be talking about, it’s really been a great little side project to keep us entertained until we do manage to get something to watch that actually counts, and it’s something that really has captured the imagination of the Forest fans judging by their responses.
Well played
