It’s easy to see why fans like him.
Samba Sow has certainly made an impact at the City Ground since signing in the summer. Racking up a number of impressive statistics, like 4.6 tackles and 2.3 interceptions a game, he’s become integral in protecting the Nottingham Forest backline.
So when the club Twitter account posted a few stats to show his performance in Tuesday night’s game, there were a number of fans who were more than happy to show their appreciation for the Malian.
They weren’t with focusing just on what Sow did last night though, there were a number of fans who took the opportunity to praise the work he had done throughout the season. You even had one fan taking the opportunity to praise the person who scouted him.
Consistent performer. Arguably our best player this season, great signing ????????

Although there were some who were left a little bit befuddled by Sabri Lamouchi’s decision to take him off.
Subbing him last night was a bad move and without the strong presence in midfield, we were left under pressure

Went Pete Tong when he came off. Very dominant display ????????

Good away point in the end, but thought taking samba sow off was one change too many tonight. Rebeiro and Ameobi not good enough for me #nffc

You might want to calm down a bit people, too much praise and he might start getting attention from bigger clubs, and we don’t want that to happen do we?
