Ward Returns Until End Of Season

Norwich City defender Elliott Ward has agreed another loan deal at the City Ground and has returned to the club until the end of this season.

Ward’s original loan deal was for three months and that ended at the beginning of January, when he returned to Norwich. Since then manager Alex McLeish said he intended to make Ward one of his first signings, so it’s no surprise to see him back on Trentside.

The 27 year old made 12 appearances for the Reds’ during his first loan spell and had his best performance in his final game, when he helped the Reds’ to a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace at the end of December.
