Q – How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

I started following Forest in 1974 but my first game was an FA cup replay against Fulham in 1975.

Q – What is your most memorable moment as a Forest fan? Good or Bad.

Difficult one as there have been so many over the years, Everyone away in 1977 was special, 1st match of the season and everyone had wrote us off, won 3 – 1 brilliant! Also beating Man Utd 4 – 0 at Old Trafford and beating Liverpool in the League Cup final replay also at Old Trafford. Watching our captain lift the E cup in Munich was a fantastic experience… I could go on and on…

Q – Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

1 – Shilton
2 – Anderson
3 – Pearce
4 – Walker
5 – Burns
6 – Hodge
7 – O’Neil
8 – Gemmill
9 – Clough
10 – Woodcock
11 – Robertson

Subs – Paul Gerrard, Michael Dawson, Andy Reid, Steve Stone, David Johnson.

All time fav player – Stuart Pearce.

Q – What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Any of Pearce’s free kicks but Johnny Metgod’s free kick against West Ham was the best goal I’ve ever seen!

Q – Best away ground visited?

Old Trafford.

Q – What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Because of everything listed above I’m dead against it. Just re develop the Main Stand and build up the corners of the City Ground and you have a nice unique stadium next to the Trent, our spiritual home. There are enough soulless bowls in football today, we don’t need another, two in the East Midlands is more than enough thank you very much.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?

Opening myself up for abuse here but… 1) Mark Crossley, just as cover and for one season only. Would be a good move I think. 2) Darren Huckerby, to add some experience to our up and coming young squad. He’s only 32 and still has a lot to give. 3) Shaun Derry, I liked the look of him on loan a few years back, again he would give us just the right amount of experience required for our squad. 4) Marlon Harewood, only a squad player at Villa and if anyone could lure him out of the premiership it would be Forest.

Q – What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

I was gob smacked, I thought we would miss out on a play off place at one point. Our form in April saved us, but the league table doesn’t lie and we got promoted on merit. I think we rode our luck though at times and big improvements are needed next season.

Q -What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

Depending on our squad for next season I have no idea, if they back up the big talk after the Yeovil game and sign some really good players we could challenge for the play off, but knowing Forest we will go with what we’ve got and end up struggling due to lack of investment.

Q – Where do you sit at the City Ground?

If I’m with my son’s it’s in the family section, if it’s a lads thing then anywhere we are allowed!!

Q – Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

In my town to bang someone means to punch them so I’d love to ‘bang’ Robbie Williams however, I would also like to shag Kelly Brooke.

Once again, thanks to Sidney Vicious for taking the time to do the questions. If you would like to take part in the Fan Interviews, then e-mail your answers to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk. You can see a list of the questions Here
