Thanks to Juan for taking time out to answer the questions.

Q- How long have you been following Forest and what got you started?

Following Forest around 8 years, got into football quite late, was only around aged ten.

Q- What is your most memorable moment as a Forest fan? Good or Bad.

It would have to be the 2002/03 season, Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the second leg of the playoffs. Gutted that night.

Q – Since you have been following Forest what would your Best Eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Since I’ve been following them…

GK – Paul Gerrard/Paul Smith
RB – Matthieu Louis-Jean
CB – Michael Dawson
CB – Steve Chettle
LB – Jim Brennan (Psycho was just before my forest days)
LM – Andy Reid/Kris Commons
CM – Sammy Clingan
CM – Gareth Williams
RM – David Prutton in 2002/03
ST – Pierre Van Hooijdonk
ST – Nathan Tyson

Q- What is would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

Couldn’t really say, there have been so many. There’s been some special ones from Commons and Reid though.

Q- Best away ground visited?

For all the slack I’ll get for saying it, it’ll have to be The Walkers. Purely ’cause it’s new though.

Q- What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

It can only be good for the club, though we are obviously a very long way from anything like filling it and thus making it worthwhile

Q- Are you pleased with the new signings made so far and is there any other player you would have liked to have seen us sign (realistically)?.

To be honest, I think our strikers are good enough, I’ve always liked Dobie and felt he’s been really unlucky. As regards signings, Cohen and Davies are two players whose roles could be filled by others, but they will do a job for us. Lockwood will do a job as well as Wright did, but will obviously be a better investment as he has more than a year left in him. Lennon is the kind of ball-winning leader figure we’ve needed for a very long time, and Wilson’s arrival could mean Wes’s days are numbered.

Q- What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations ?

I was gutted, and a simple tactical mistake by an inexperienced manager (for which he has been excessively berated IMO) cost us. CC will come good. I wasn’t sure we’d go up, but it was still a truly tragic night.

Q-Despite the new signings, are there any areas in the side you think need adding to?

An experienced reserve GK maybe, but I haven’t seen much of Gamble/Roberts. Other than that, no.

Q- Where do you sit at the City Ground?

Upper Brian Clough Stand, block K, row 17, seat 97

Is your starting X1 a better side than Juans’ or any of the others? Is there another signing you would have picked? If you would like to do the Fan Interview, them email forest@vitalfootball.co.uk.
