Well this seems like a pretty open and shut case don’t you?
I’m not quite sure where the question came from, but I think the person behind it might want to rethink the next question that they put out there, hopefully into something that causes a little bit more of a debate.
@CityGroundHQ posed the question yesterday whether or not Reds fans were impressed with 23-year-old left-back Yuri Ribeiro after his displays this season. Admittedly it has been hard for him to nail down a regular spot in the starting eleven this season when he was competing against the likes of Chema Rodriguez and Jack Robinson in the early part of the season, but he’s managed to lock it down in the latter half.
Is Yuri the best left-back since Stuart Pearce?
Yes
No
And although he’s only produced two assists so far this season, his worth goes far beyond that as he finds himself ranked 8th in the team when it comes to his overall WhoScored ranking, something that hasn’t gone unnoticed when it comes to the fans, as they piled on the praise for his efforts through the campaign.
Unsung hero to be honest, goes about his business with his no nonsense defending, hasnt put a foot wrong really, seems to be getting better all the time, personally i loved stuart pearce and alan rogers from years ago but if yuri keeps going the way he is then he will get better❤

What about you? What have been your thoughts on Ribeiro?
