Nathan Tyson has just recovered from his second setback in 18 months, after his return from a torn hamstring. Tyson has missed the last 4 games for the Reds and now says he’s raring to go.

He played 45 mins in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday against Burton Albion and has had no ill effects. Tyson will now be hoping for a change in fortunes after his recent run of bad luck.

He told the BBC. ‘I have to keep my head strong. Hopefully when I come back I can get back to how it was.

I’m getting sick and tired of it – it’s so frustrating. But when you are going on a good run of goals, starting week in and week out, doing well and putting in some good performances, and then suddenly it happens, you do think this is ridiculous.’

He should make the squad at least for the game at Swindon tomorrow, but whether he gets a start remains to be seen. One thing is certain, a fit and in form Tyson is going to be an essential part in the push for promotion.
