Nathan Tyson is expecting to be back in training earlier than the doctors predicted.

The Nottingham Forest striker suffered his injury on the first game of the season against Bradford City after falling awkwardly and tearing his medial ligament in his left knee.

Tyson was expecting to be back in four months but is now aiming to be back in November.

Speaking to the official site Tyson said ” things are moving on quiet quickly,”

“I`ve seen the doctor today and he has told me I can do a lot more.

“The way things are going I could be back earlier than expected. If things continue to go well, I could be back in training in four to five weeks.

” It was predicted I would be out until December, but now it could be November which is a massive bonus for me”

If Tyson can make it back before Christmas I think this will be a massive boost for the squad and it will be a big help during the festive period.
