Forest striker Nathan Tyson has ended all speculation about his future by signing a new two and a half year deal, that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2011.

There have been numerous rumours linking him with a move to Premiership outfit Portsmouth and that was set to continue with his current deal running out this summer.

Tyson becomes the first bit of business completed by new manager Billy Davies and he told the official site. ‘He’s a fantastic player, has alot of potential and lots ahead of him. I think he’s a great signing for Forest.’
