Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson says he’s fully recovered from injury and ready for the end of season playoffs.
Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham, he said. ‘I have had a steroid injection in my spine so hopefully that will solve the spasms in my hamstring. I will have to see how it goes over the next couple of weeks but it does feel good at the moment. I did not want to come off against Carlisle but he said I needed to be rested because it is more important that if we are going into the play-offs I need you fit.’
He does look sharp since his return and got the opening goal in the 2-0 win at Tranmere on Saturday. So far this campaign he has 11 goals to his credit. He also leads the assists chart at the club with 7. It will be a timely return to the team and form for Tyson who missed last season’s playoffs through injury.
