Nathan Tyson, the flag waving hero of Trentside, could make his debut for the Sheep on Saturday in the East Midlands Derby at the City Ground.

Tyson joined the Rams in June on a free transfer from the Reds’ and has so far played no part for them this season, after picking up a groin strain during a pre season game against Aston Villa.

He managed to play 60 mins in a behind closed doors match against Leicester on Tuesday and will be in line to make his first appearance for the Rams against Forest, so long as he doesn’t get injured before then of course.

Tyson became a terrace legend back in 2009, after putting in one of his best ever performances for the Reds’ against the Sheep at the City Ground. We beat them 3-2 that day and Tyson put us 3-0 up just before half time. However, his run across the box, infront of the Derby support and with corner flag in hand, sparked a full blown melee after the final whistle had been blown. Both clubs’ were fined over the incident, but Tyson found his way into the hearts of the majority of Forest fans that day for his antics.
