The good news from the City Ground today, is that Forest strikers Nathan Tyson and Junior Agogo are to return to training when the players report back next Tuesday.

Both players missed the last two months of the season and were sorely missed. Between them last term they scored 19 goals, but Tyson in particular was ravaged by injury throughout.

Manager Colin Calderwood told the official site ‘Both lads have made good progress and the plan is for both to join in when we return to training next week.’

The injuries came at a crucial time of the season for the Reds, particularly Agogo who was finding his goalscoring touch and showing the fans what he can really do. It was the second major setback for Tyson who missed the beginning of the campaign, after damaging his knee ligaments in the first game of the season at home to Bradford. This will be a welcome return for both players, but will now open the debate as to whether Tyson is fit to play for Forest, or fit to sign for another club.
