Back to winning ways.
Forest recorded a nice 1-0 victory over Premier League side Crystal Palace on Friday night, Albert Adomah getting the goal in his first game at the City Ground for his new club.
However, before the game, there was one very glaring omission from not just the starting line-up, but the bench as well. Last season’s number one Costel Pantilimon was omitted from the matchday squad. Could this be a signal that his time at the City Ground has officially come to an end?
Get French Football News were reporting the other week that Forest were in discussions with Abdoulaye Diallo, a goalkeeper that Sabri Lamouchi worked with briefly during his time as manager of Stade Rennais. So perhaps there are plans to bring in another stopper.
Although that didn’t stop Pantilimon from getting a run out in the second half during the side’s 3-0 defeat to Olympiacos earlier in the week.
So when the team was announced on Friday night, a lot of Forest fans were quick to question whether or not there was something wrong with the big Romanian, or if the game against Olympiacos was indeed the last time he pulled on a Forest shirt.

Although there was one fan who did offer up quite a reasonable explanation as to why he may not have played.
I think Muric should be given the full 90 minutes today. Pantilimon doesn’t need to prove himself. #nffc
