Speaking to talkSPORT – via Nottinghamshire Live – defender Michael Dawson has said that he is on the recovery trail, though his team-mates have been taking the mick out of that.
The defender has been missing since December and the likes of Alex Milosevic and Yohan Benalouane have come in and done well.
Dawson seems to be on the way back now, though, but it is up for debate as to whether we will see him again this season.
And, though he is a good player, there is no need to rush him.
The defence has been fairly decent in recent weeks and so it is not as if we have an urgent need for his experience at the back.
Obviously, he’s a good player and his return will be welcomed but let’s not get overly excited about it because I don’t think it is going to change things drastically.
He won’t feature against Rotherham anyway, so there’s little point thinking past that right now.
