The winner of the 2009/10 Vital Forest Player of the Year Award goes to keeper Lee Camp.

Camp was also announced as the NFFC official player of the year, at yesterday’s game against Plymouth, so it’s a double swoop for the fans favourite. He follows in the footsteps of former winners Chris Cohen, Julian Bennett and Ian Breckin.

For the first time in years, there was actually some competition for the award, but Camp still won it by a considerable margin with 45% of the vote. Second place went to captain Paul McKenna, with 16% and third place went to Wes Morgan, following closely behind with 15% of the votes.

Well done and congratulations to Lee and thanks to everyone for taking part.
