Q – How long have you been following Forest and what was your first game?

I went to my first game when I was two in 1973/74 season, so I don’t really remember it.
The first game I remember was the European Cup Final in Munich, my first trip abroad.

Q – What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

It would have to be winning the European Cup or possibly seeing Des Walker score against Luton then outrunning the rest of the team in his celebration! The worst memory would be losing the ’91 FA Cup Final thanks to Roger Milford and that fat Geordie git Gazza; being crushed while watching us get cheated out of the UEFA cup at Anderlecht. Or relegation. Any of them.

Q – Since you have been following Forest, what would your best eleven be? And who is your all time favourite player?

Shilton, Anderson, Pierce, Walker, Lloyd, Gemmil, Stone, Keane, Robertson, Clough, Collymore (Metgod, Hodge, Burns, Laws and O’Neill on the bench).

Q – What would you say is the best goal you have seen Forest score?

A Pierce or Metgod free kick….or Gary Crosby against Man City for comedy value.

Q – Best and worst away ground visited?

Best Pride Park…….I’m joking, I’m joking. Got to be Field Mill, Mansfield are my other team.
Worst in this country, probably Luton. Worst in Europe would be Anderlechts old ground. (Heysel).

Q – What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

If it’s good quality, big enough to mean we can host internationals, but not so big that 25,000 rattle around in there then it would be excellent – unless we name it after a sponsor (Walkers Stadium, Reebok etc)
For me the proposed location would be a bonus as I come up from London for the 12-15 games I see but for my mum who comes from North Notts via public transport to every game it would be a nightmare and could end her (long) history of attendance at games.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see us sign this summer(realistically)?

Blackstock, Gunter, McKenna. Plus an experienced centre back, centre mid and a keeper.

Q – All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

I think supporters should have the choice, a decent step, (deep, decent height) means everyone can see, but you get good atmosphere. Too many terraces had a step shorter than a size ten and only 2 or 3 inches height. At the end of the day, being able to see the game is the most important thing.

Q – What are your thoughts on how Forest did last season and how did it compare to your expectations?

Given the way we started I think we did very well to stay up. Injuries hampered both managers but it shows (as BD says) you need 2 players in every position. Having 3 or 4 who can play in several positions isn’t enough. We ended very well and if we keep that going, winning at home and drawing away, a top 10 would be on the cards.

Q – What are your expectations for next season in the Championship?

Top half, possibly around the play-off places.

Q – What League position will Forest occupy at the end of the 2009/10 season?

7

Q – What’s your opinion of Billy Davies and what he’s done at NFFC, since arriving in January?

Straight talking. Not criticised the predecessors, driven. Most importantly he tells the fans his goals and his long term plan. A good choice.

Q – Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

BC Upper, half way line.

Q – Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Keira Knightley.

Thanks to young LondonExile for taking the time out to answer the questions. If you would like to take part in the Fan Interviews, then send your answers to forest@vitalfootball.co.uk. You can find a list of the Q’s HERE. Next up…it’s Jonathan Maley!
