Q – How long have you been following Forest and do you remember your first game?

I’ve been a Forest fan since about 1966. First game October 67 – Forest 3 Man Utd 1 (2 goals from Joe Baker and 1 from Frank Wignall I think) Huge crowd that day. The Trent end sang ‘Dennis Law is on the dole’ – he’d just been given a long ban for something or other.

Q – What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

Good: Being at the first League Cup Final at Wembley vs Liverpool & cheering ‘young Chris Woods on’. League title and European Cups of course.
Bad: The relegation to League 1 – The decline of BC.

Q – Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be and who is your all time favourite player?

Shilton, Anderson, Dawson, Walker, Pearce, O’Neill, Metgod, Webb, Thyssen, Collymore, Francis ……
Subs: Van Breukelyn(?),Hart, Louis Jean, Woan, Nige, Roy, Birtles, McKenzie. All time favourite Stuart Pearce.
NB I would have included Van Hoodwink but he was so moody and he damaged our team.

Q – What is your best and worst moment of the 2012/13 season?

Best: 1. Beating Leeds on Boxing Day.
2. Being able to get to the Wigan game in August
Worst, Losing Sean O’Driscoll and appointing a man who didn’t understand Nott’m Forest.

Q – In your opinion, how have the new owners performed since taking over the club last July?

They have done well. The owners have tinkered to get the right people in the right places, and despite it sometimes being a rocky road, we reached the destination pretty much intact. All in all I think we are headed in the right direction and with their ongoing support we’ll get there.

Q – Best and worst away ground visited?

Best: Anfield
Worst: Brentford.

Q – Who is your Nottingham Forest player of the season?

Chris Cohen – Mr Reliable in any position that he’s picked for. Good player – I appreciate his loyalty and commitment. Runner up: Lewis or Radi.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see Forest sign this summer (realistically)?
Scott Sinclair from Man City …………………….plus 5-6 others

Q – All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

Good for safety and getting to actually watch the game, not so beneficial for atmosphere.

Q – What are your thoughts on how the team performed last season and how did it compare with your expectations?

With all the chaos during the close season I was relieved that we could actually put a team out for the first game, so I would have settled to finish in the top half this year and we did that. We perhaps over-achieved in the first few matches after Billy’s return and that gave us false hope of the premier league, but overall 8th is about right. Disappointed at the strikers for hardly scoring a goal between them since Christmas. They are all better than that.

Q – What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?

It all depends on the support of the Chairman and owners. We need several players to provide a balance to the squad which has been lacking this year. If the players come in I think this could be our year. We’re already a match for most teams in this division and additional dimensions to our play will take us up another level (and hopefully up to another division).

Q- Much has been said about the wealth of our new owners. Do you think they will spend their way to promotion, or adopt a more frugal approach in trying to achieve it?

I hope they will spend, but they didn’t become wealthy by spending, so I suspect they’ll be ‘sensible.’

Q – Name a former Forest player you were most disappointed to see sign for another club?

Duncan McKenzie.

Q – What’s your opinion on Billy Davies and will he bring success to the club?

He’s not perfect, but he is passionate, and he produces results. The old rule about never going back will haunt him if he isn’t successful, but the signs have been encouraging so far.

Q – In your opinion, was it the right or wrong decision to sack Sean O’Driscoll?

The longer I think about it the more I support the decision. He is a good manager, but we just weren’t consistently firing on all cylinders. We could destroy Leeds in 20 minutes but then not turn up at the next game.

Q – New stadium, or renovate the City Ground? Renovate the old lady.

I love the City Ground…. but a new Main Stand wouldn’t go amiss!

Q – If you could put one question or make one request to Mr.Fawaz Al-Hasawi, what would it be?

My request would be the he would trust and support Billy’s judgement on the players he wants for next season.

Q – Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

I live too far away just now (about 10,000 miles), but usually BC upper when I am in Nottingham.

Q – Name the celebrity you would most like to meet.

Too many to list here.
